Residents Action Group
The Community Safety Team facilitates a residents action group, which was originally set up to combat arson.
Achievements Include:
- 100% reduction in arson
- Clearance of 5+ tonnes of fly tipping
- Removal of 12 unused gas cylinders
- Painting double yellow lines
- Reduction in anti-social behaviour
- 3 ABC’s completed
- A number of warrants executed in relation to drugs
- 2 anti-social behaviour injunctions
The group is currently looking at a Community House, knocking down garages, replacement of bollards and others.
We continue to work with the residents to improve the area and encourage them to take a more active role.
