Mobile CCTV
The ‘Safer Hart’ partnership vehicle was converted into a mobile CCTV van in 2007, with local company Shield Security sponsoring the equipment.
The Community Wardens and Hampshire Constabulary use the CCTV van to patrol ‘hot spot’ areas, with the vehicle acting as a deterrent and aiding the detection of crime, disorder and anti-social behaviour.
