Parent Awareness Events
Parent Awareness Events are aimed at the parents of year 9 – 11s, where parents can speak to a number of agencies from the Safer Hart Partnership, as well as receive education on drugs and alcohol, including what to do if they believe their children may be involved in any way with drug and alcohol misuse.
The evening consists of a number of presentations, and the opportunity for informal discussions with partner agencies, including Community Safety, Hampshire Constabulary, Hampshire Fire & Rescue Service, and Sentinel Housing Association. The aim of the event is to provide practical education on an issue that is not only topical, but also an important concern to any parent.
The next event is planned for Frogmore Community College on 5th October 2009.
